The Mirror Cave in Ribino Protected Site, is located in the territory of the village of Ribino. The local population calls the cave “Ayna ini”, which translates from Turkish to the “Mirror Cave”(“ayna” means mirror), ie. that the other one is seen from one entrance.
The “Mirror Cave” is 157 meters long and is included in the list of the 250 most famous caves in Bulgaria. It is the only site in the Eastern Rhodopes where winter colonies of horseshoe bats winter. During many cave visits Rhinolophus blasii, Miniopterus schreibersii and Myotis myotis bats have been spotted on site.
