On August 20 and 21, we thematically celebrated the International Bat Night in front of one of the most important bat shelters in the Balkans – the Devil’s Throat cave. In winter, it is home to about 40,000 bats, and in the summer some of them stay to raise their young. We were able to tell visitors more about the life of these interesting flying mammals, and we’ll use the funds collected from the donation stand for their conservation and improvement of their habitats.
