For the second year, the ultramarathon “Eastern Rhodopes’ Racing” will be held. This is the first dog friendly competition in our country. Its second edition will be on 15.10.2022 (Saturday) amid the autumn magic of the wild Rhodopes. Marathoners will have the opportunity to challenge themselves and touch unique natural phenomena. International Bat Night at Devil’s Throat Cave

On August 20 and 21, we thematically celebrated the International Bat Night in front of one of the most important bat shelters in the Balkans – the Devil’s Throat cave. In winter, it is home to about 40,000 bats, and in the summer some of them stay to raise their young. We were able to tell visitors more about the life of these interesting flying mammals, and we’ll use the funds collected from the donation stand for their conservation and improvement of their habitats.
